Our client is hiring for their next Class 1 Driver to start work immediately in the Moncton, NB area! 
*Please note that the facility is not accessible by public transit, so you need to have a car or your own transportation. *
 
What We Offer:
  • Salary: $0.50/mile
  • Job Type/Shift: work 5 days a week, 40 to 60 hours a week, day and night shift available, ongoing position 
  • Benefits: Free WHMIS training, Weekly pay – every Friday 
 
What You'll Do:
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Completing a daily truck log and submitting mileage reports
  • Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any problems
  • Securing cargo and dealing with hazardous materials safely, as needed
  • Communicating with dispatchers and other drivers using onboard radios or computers
  • Paying for goods and receiving payments from clients
  • Performing emergency repairs like patching tires when needed
  • Ensure yard is clean and operated in a safe manner. 
  • Moving and handling freight in a dock environment (50-75 lbs) 
  • Report any incidents of safety violation or security breaches
  • Other related duties as may be required
 
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience of Class 1 vehicles is required. 
  • Valid Class 1 License with clean CVOR and Abstract. 
  • Clean criminal background. 
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Safety-minded.
  • English, other languages considered an asset
  • Able to work with little supervision
