What You'll Do
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and stage freight within the warehouse and yard.
- Handle LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipments efficiently while maintaining accuracy and minimizing damage.
- Verify freight, labels, and shipment documentation to ensure orders are processed correctly.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including safe equipment operation and material-handling practices.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area while supporting overall warehouse operations.
- Complete routine forklift inspections and report any equipment or safety concerns promptly.
What You’ll Bring
- Valid forklift license/certification — required.
- Previous LTL or cross-dock experience — considered an asset
- Previous warehouse or material-handling experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong team-oriented attitude.
