Forklift Operator

On behalf of our client, a battery distributor that supplies automotive, commercial, and industrial batteries, we are immediately hiring a full time Forklift Operator for their warehouse in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

What We Offer: 

• Salary: $22 per hour

• Full Time Day Shifts, Monday to Friday

• Long term, ongoing contract starting immediately

What You'll Do: 

• Operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and store pallets of batteries and related products within the warehouse.

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips or purchase orders.

• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery routes and customer pickups.

• Load delivery trucks safely and ensure products are secured for transport.

• Maintain accurate inventory through proper storage, labeling, and participation in cycle counts.

• Follow safety procedures and keep the warehouse clean and organized, including routine equipment checks.

What We're Looking For: 

• Must hold a valid forklift certification.  

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs if needed. 

• Strong English communication skills, both oral & written.

• Clean criminal background.
