Administrative Coordinator – OS&D Specialist

We’re hiring an Administrative Coordinator for a major transportation client, with an immediate start in Moncton, NB area! This is a great company to join and there are many career opportunities for the right candidate.

What We Offer
  • $20 an hour, plus 4% vacation pay added to your rate
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00AM to 3:30PM
  • Weekly pay, every Friday!
  • Immediate Start
 
What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for identifying the root cause of OS&D incidents and implementing corrective actions 
    • This may involve reviewing shipping documents, inspecting freight, and contacting relevant parties to gather information. 
  • Meticulously track and record all OS&D incidents, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference and claims processing.
  • Communicate with customers to inform them about the status of their shipments and provide guidance on filing claims. 
  • Work closely with various teams, to resolve OS&D issues and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and- implementation of preventative measures to minimize future occurrences.
  • Adhere to established freight flow and OS&D procedures to ensure compliance and maintain quality standards.
  • Escalate unresolved issues or non-compliance matters to management.
  • Using Google Maps, Canada Post website, Bringg and TruckMate
  • Other administrative duties as required ( scanning, photocopying, faxing and pulling reports etc)
  • Follow established procedures and processes accurately
 
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in the same or similar role is required
  • Clean criminal background is required
  • Experience in the Transportation Industry is preferred
  • Must be highly proficient in utilizing AS400, Truckmate and Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Excellent computer skills and keyboarding skills 
  • Must be fluent in English, reading, writing and comprehension
  • Able to work deadlines in high transactional, fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills is a must
