Forklift Operator

We're seeking a Forklift Operator to join our client's team in Ottawa. 

What We Offer:

• Salary: $20/hr

• Job Type/Shift: Full time, day time, 8am to 5pm

• Benefits: After 300 hours

What You'll Do:

• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks as required for loading and unloading merchandise
• Prepping all merchandise orders for pick-up and for next day deliveries
• Operate warehouse forklift (Raymond Reach)
• Shipping/Receiving
• Customer Service and dealing with customers at the wharehouse / processing orders at the register
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety within the warehouse environment
• Making sure the warehouse and office areas are clean and well maintained

What We're Looking For:

• Must hold a valid forklift certification

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and more if needed

• Knowledge of various handling equipment is an asset

• Clean criminal background

• Mechanically inclined, some common knowledge of vehicles and motors in general
