Job Description
- Will drive a cube van (14 or 16 feet)/5 ton
- Will be provided with a tablet
- Will be provided with 1 day training – will go on the road with another driver
- Must always wear CSA Safety boots
- Must have excellent customer service skills as they will be dealing with customers
- Good knowledge of the Ottawa/Gatineau
- Other warehouse duties as required.
Pay Rate/ Shift
- Shift: 8:00am TO finish – work until deliveries are done for drivers (Monday to Friday)
- Occasional Saturday
- Pay: $19.27 plus 4% vacation pay $20.04/hr
What we offer:
- Weekly pay
- 4% vacation pay added weekly.
- Full time hours
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Health Benefit package optional after 300 hours of work
Job Duties:
- Loading, unloading, and securing the equipment
- Hand bombing, ability to lift to 50lbs
- Local deliveries of material in the Ottawa/Gatineau Area
- Perform daily commercial vehicle inspection to ensure operational safety.
- Learn and demonstrate Customer Service Standards for delivery service
- Accurately obtain required signatures on rental contracts, pick up and exchange forms.
Who you are:
- Valid G License with clean CVOR and Abstract
- 1 Year Minimum driving a 3 Ton and 5 Ton
- Clean criminal background for some opportunities
- Hardworking, reliable, and punctual
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
