We’re seeking a skilled Labourer to join our client, a unionized firm with over 20 years of experience as a General Contractor for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects in Summertown.

What We Offer:

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience up to $23.83 per hour with a raise scheduled for October 2025.
Working Hours: 7 am - 4:30 pm, may require occasional additional hours.

What You’ll Do:

Perform tasks such as abatement, digging trenches, pouring concrete, constructing outdoor structures, painting, and other general duties.
Read and understand construction plans and drawings and operate various tools and equipment safely.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills in all aspects of safety and construction-related tasks.
Be organized, work well in a team, and excel in mentoring, motivating, and communicating.
Conduct basic inspections on equipment and safety PPE.
Interact politely and respectfully with clients, coworkers, and other trades.

What We’re looking For:

Minimum 1-5 years’ relevant experience.
Reliable transportation to travel between sites.
Ability to work a full week with the possibility of overtime.
Recognize unsafe work practices and situations. Acts to remedy safety concerns effectively and correctly by complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
