We're seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk - Administrator to join our client's team in Etobicoke. As the AP clerk - Administrator, you'll be responsible for ensuring related invoices are recorded in a timely manner and that suppliers/vendors and paid within their negotiated terms. 

What We Offer:
  • Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hr. depending on experience. 
  • Contract: 3 months – Start Date ASAP, possibility of going permanent.
  • Shift: Monday - Friday: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm with ½ hour break.   
  • Location: Etobicoke ON M8Z 4E6 
  • Reports To: Financial Controller 

What You’ll Do: 
  • Perform high-volume accounts payables, HST filings, monthly bank reconciliations and bank draws, general bookkeeping, and assist with the preparation of year end working papers.  
  • Provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. Complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Ensures day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Monitor the centralized inbox for invoices from suppliers/vendors to ensure liabilities are recorded in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accuracy and documentation of all pieces of the accounts payable function, including accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, payments, data entry and filing.
  • Ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices from suppliers/vendors and reimbursement of employee expenses.
  • Continue to find improvements and efficiencies for processing and departmental internal controls.
 
What We're Looking For:
  • This position requires someone with a post-secondary diploma/degree related to Accounting or Finance, anyone pursuing CPA designation is considered an asset. 
  • A minimum of 3 years’ related Accounts Payable Bookkeeping work experience.  
  • Must also be computer literate and proficient with the programs in Sage, Microsoft Office suite with exceptional Excel – Pivot Tables experience.  
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
