We're seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsperson to join our client's construction team in Belleville. Working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers, the Draftsperson will contribute to the successful planning and execution of residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.

What You’ll Do:

Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
Interpret architectural and engineering sketches and specifications.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and project managers to refine drawings and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of layouts, sections, elevations, and 3D models.
Maintain and update drawing sets throughout the design and construction phases.
Coordinate with site teams to reflect as-built conditions or required design changes.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in all drafting documentation.
Organize and archive drawings and project documentation for future reference.
Perform quantity take-offs and assist in material estimations as required.
Stay updated with industry standards, building codes, and software developments.

What We’re Looking For:

Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 2–5 years of drafting experience in the construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting and modeling software.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations is prefered.
Experience in both residential and commercial construction projects is preferred.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) is preferred.
